The Acid-Alkaline Balance

Dad never misses a chance to drill into us the importance of having the correct ph balance in our bodies.  That is the acid-alkaline balance.  He found this video that explains it in non-technical terms.

Acid
 = foods containing phosphorus
 = roots (eg potatoes), seeds (eg rice, corn), muscle (eg meat)

Alkaline 
= foods containing calcium & magnesium (note...NOT SUPPLEMENTS!)
= green vegetables, seaweeds, herbs

Hope you will begin to understand how alkaline and acidity in our body affect our health.
